Two rounds have been played in the B-Open of the 50th Dortmund International Chess Days. 228 players went to the start. Now 36 players are still perfectly on track with 2 points. On the first board, the game between Andreas Scharrenbroich and Jan Paul Roth ended in a draw in the second round. On the second board Franz Michalek (photo) won with Black and is one of the tournament favourites in the B-Open.
