Last week she defeated Hikaru, in June she will be in Dortmund

She is a women grandmaster, a German national player, concentrates fully on her own chess and her chess students and has completed a degree in business mathematics on the side: WGM Josefine Heinemann will take part in the A-Open of the 50th Dortmund International Chess Days and hunt for norms there.

Because even after achieving the women's grandmaster title, she still has goals: She wants to crack the 2400 Elo and earn the title of International Master. The A-Open offers excellent conditions for this, because many title holders from different nations have already registered and the opposition for possible norms is perfect.

Heinemann showed last week in the online "Pro Chess League" that she can annoy and beat the grandmasters: she defeated Hikaru Nakamura, probably the strongest blitz chess player in the world.
