Special characteristics for the 2021 event

For the staging of the Sparkassen Chess Trophy 2021, a comprehensive hygiene and infection control concept had to be submitted to the responsible authorities. This provides for a closed event where no spectators are allowed.

But don't worry: we will also organise another classical Open at the Sparkassen Chess Trophy 2022 from 16.07.-24.07.2022 in the Westfalenhallen Dortmund.
