International Women's Tournament 2026
In 2026, a closed women's tournament will once again be held as part of the Sparkassen Chess Trophy. It will be held on stage parallel to the A-Open and will be a tournament of international calibre. Four top players will compete against each other.

On 4 August 2026, the closed blitz tournament will take place from 6 pm as part of the event "Spielmacherinnen auf dem Schachbrett" in the German Football Museum. Free admission!
In the event of a tie on points in the overall classical tournament, the higher placing in the blitz tournament will determine the final ranking.
