Two Grandmasters and an International Master nominally favourites of the final
After the excellent response last weekend, the final of the Sparkassen Online Open will take place this Saturday at 2 pm on lichess.org. The best 8 players of each preliminary tournament have qualified and most of them will take part today. The winner will receive an invitation to the A-Open of the 49th International Dortmund Chess Days 2022 including an overnight stay in the hotel of the grandmasters. Places 2 and 3 can play free of charge.
Above all, of course, there is the curiosity to play the innovative "No Castling" mode yourself, after Vladimir Kramnik and Viswanathan Anand have now demonstrated it. The favourites of the tournament are GM Krishnan Sasikiran, GM Alexander Bagrationi and IM Matthias Dann. But also Amir Ali Ghafourian (picture) certainly wants to fight for the tournament victory after his preliminary round win on Saturday. The tournament will be played under the supervision of referee Andreas Junk, all players have to join a Zoom Meeting for cheating prevention.

Patrick Werner from Dortmund, aka "Craftycurs", has also announced a streamer who will follow the tournament live with a slight time delay: https://www.twitch.tv/craftycus
